- Please read this page carefully. The Symposium-Live Web Site and its services, information and data 
(collectively referred to as the "Web Site") is operated and owned by Symposium Technologies Incorporated ("STI"). This page states the Disclaimer and Terms of Use (collectively referred to as the “TOU”) under which you may use the Web Site. By visiting, viewing, accessing or otherwise using the Web Site, you agree to be bound by the TOU. If you do not want to be bound by the TOU your only option is not to visit, view or otherwise use the Web Site. You understand, agree and acknowledge that the TOU constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and STI and that your use of the Web Site shall indicate your conclusive acceptance of this agreement. STI may change, add or remove portions of the TOU at any time. STI will notify you of any changes to the TOU by a posting on the Web Site, or by email, postal mail, or other means. Continued use of the Web Site following notice of the changes means that you agree to and accept the TOU as amended. If you do not agree to the changes, your sole and exclusive remedy is to stop using the Web Site. 

STI and its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees and affiliates make no representations or warranties as to the suitability of the Web Site for your particular purpose, and that to the extent you use or implement the Web Site in your own setting, you do so at your own risk. The Web Site is provided solely for your own use and cannot be sold. In no event will STI and its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees or affiliates be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, punitive, consequential, incidental, special, or claim for attorney fees, including, without limitation, lost revenues, or lost profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of, delay, misuse of, or inability to use the Web Site, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or otherwise, even if STI has been advised of the possibility of damages.

STI and its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any loss or injury caused in whole, or in part, by their actions or omissions, or by any contingencies beyond their control, including procuring, compiling, or delivering the Web Site, or arising out of any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Web Site regardless of how caused, or arising out of any decision or action taken or not taken by you in reliance upon the Web Site.

The Web Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.  STI and its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees and affiliates make no representations or warranties regarding the condition or functionality of the Web Site, or that the Web Site will be uninterrupted or error free.

Use of Web Site
STI encourages the use of the Web Site as a way to share information and knowledge. The Web Site and the information contained and presented therein is purely of an informational nature, and the use of the Web Site should not be relied upon in providing services or information in situations involving the protection of life or property. While we believe the information contained within the Web Site to be accurate, STI does not warrant the accuracy of this information in any way, nor warrant in any way that this information will be error-free.

Limitations of Use
A User may download material only for his or her own personal, non-commercial use, or for dissemination by news media, and may not otherwise copy, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or otherwise transfer any material.

Commercial Use and Advertising
You may not use the Web Site or other STI technology resources for commercial purposes without the prior written approval of STI. In the case of the Web Site, commercial advertising includes, but is not limited to, banner ads, corporate logos, and product endorsements.

External Site References
The Web Site may include hyperlinks to other websites maintained or controlled by others and may host or embed information, data, services, communications, materials or products owned, maintained or controlled by others
(collectively known as "External Content").  Furthermore, it may not be apparent to the User that they are accessing External Content.

STI assumes no responsibility or liability for and makes no warranty regarding any of the External Content that may be hyperlinked to, hosted by, or embedded within the Web Site. STI does not routinely screen, approve, review or endorse the content of or use of any of this External Content, or the organizations that own, maintain or control it.  STI does not intend any External Content included in the Web Site to be referrals or endorsements of the sources or companies from which this External Content originates. The User assumes sole responsibility for use of any External Content which is hyperlinked to, hosted by, or embedded within the Web Site.

The logo, name and all graphics on the Web Site are trademarks of STI or used with permission from or under licence with, the trademark or copyright holder. Use, reproduction, copying or redistribution of logo, name, or any graphics or trademarks without the written permission of STI or the trademark or copyright holder is prohibited.

Reservation Rights
The content of the Web Site is subject to change without notice. STI reserves the right to correct errors or omissions without prior notice. We also reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to cancel or change any offered program or service without prior notice.  

As a condition of use of the Web Site, the User agrees to indemnify STI, its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees,  and affiliates against any and all liability, expenses (including attorney's fees) and damages arising out of claims resulting from User's use of this Web Site, including without limitation any claims alleging facts that if true would constitute a breach by User of these terms and conditions.

The TOU will continue to apply to all past use of the Web Site by You, even if You are no longer using the Web Site. You acknowledge and agree that STI may terminate, block or suspend Your use of all or part of the Web Site without prior notice for any reason, including, without limitation, if STI believes You have engaged in conduct prohibited by these TOU, including any applicable Privacy Policy Statement. You agree that upon termination or discontinuance for any reason, STI may delete all information related to You on the Web Site and may bar Your access to and use of the Web Site.

The TOU are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. User consents to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Web Site. Use of this Web Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of the TOU, including without limitation this paragraph.

Compliance with Laws
STI’s performance of the TOU is subject to existing laws and legal process and nothing contained in the TOU is in derogation of STI’s right to comply with law enforcement requests or requirements relating to the User's use of this Web Site or information provided to or gathered by STI with respect to such use.

If any part of the TOU is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitation set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the TOU shall continue in effect.

Closing of Agreement
The TOU constitute the entire agreement between the User and STI (and its officers, authorized agents, contractors, employees and affiliates) with respect to the Web Site and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the User and STI with respect to the Web Site. The TOU shall be deemed to include all other notices, policies, disclaimers and other terms contained in this Web Site; provided, however, that in the event of a conflict between such other terms and the terms of the TOU, the terms of the TOU shall control. A printed version of the TOU and of any notice given in electronic form will be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to the TOU to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
